The moments that made the year:

1. Holding my niece for the first time. Crying on her. I have never been so in love so quickly. Watching my sister develop into an amazing mother.

2. Meeting LA. Everything that has come as a part of that friendship. Spending time with her family. Seeing the Grand Canyon, going into a helicopter, watching her get her first tattoo. Several drives to Kamloops.

3. Hanging with the Riss. Going to dinner. laughing like idiots while some guy played a song on his goon sack. Hitting wet n wild together. Finding out she's going to be married and being asked to be maid of honour.

4. Travel. Grand Canyon was certainly the highlight. It takes your breath away. But Disney World was pretty freaking cool. So are all of the little places in Canada I've seen. All the lakes etc.

5. My first Thanksgiving. Holy that is some good food. My first pumpkin pie!

6. Waking up and finding my front yard covered in snow. And walking home from the pub in a snow storm when it's -14.

7. Big Day Out. Just what I needed.

8. Movie nights and bits of randomness with Jace. Getting drunk randomly on a monday night. Dragging her to bad movies. Talking about girls endlessly.

9. Getting a job in travel again. Sure Im working crazy hours and Im tired allll of the time. But Im doing what I love and I wouldn't have it annny other way. Plus I kick arse at it hahah.

10. Spending the weekend with my grandparents before I came here. Their place relaxes me like nowhere else in the world.

What can I say? It has been a suprising and amazing year. I made the move to Canada. And while it hasn't been smooth sailing, I know everyday that it was the right thing to do. I've made some amazing and life changing friendships this year. I have a beautiful little niece who I fall more in love with in every photo. It's been a great ride...
